The core areas of Development are the Digital Mapping and Support of Business Processes with the help of our own standard Software PANFLOW as well as in the Simplification of the Management and use of Digital Content. In this application area, many standard tasks are supported by the own CMS product line (PANSITE, PANBASE, PAN.AD).

Milestones from 25 years of Panvision
PANFLOW turns 15
It is a long time (we think) in which we were able to support numerous medium-sized and large companies with our software and a constantly growing know-how in process digitization in getting important workflows from paper into the digital world.
Panvision turns 25!
The day has not felt too long ago, when we celebrated our 20th anniversary together at the Zollverein colliery - and already a 5 joins the 20.
Once again we would like to thank our customers, companions and friends and look forward to future joint projects with excitement and anticipation!
Panvision celebrates the 20th jubilee of five of its employees
The holistic concept of Panvision GmbH brought creative minds from the most diverse disciplines together from the very beginning, which enormously enrich our team and our work to this day. Now, in 2017, five of our employees can look back on more than 20 years of Panvision and – again and again – contribute to passing on our philosophy and values to the younger team, not forgetting to look beyond the horizon and serving our customers with delight and dedication.
Introduction of PANBASE.NET
In order to stay abreast with the rapid digital advances and to modernize the visual appearance of our Software, the Digital Asset Management System PANBASE 2016 has undergone a general overhaul. PANBASE is now available as a .NET version and inspires with a newly structured user interface in an appealing design.
PANFLOW wins the Innovation Award: Innovationspreis IT
The Web-based Workflow Management System PANFLOW has been awarded the innovation award “Innovationspreis IT“ in the category "Business Process Management". More than 4,900 submitted applications were evaluated by an independent expert jury, which included professors, scientists, industry representatives and specialist journalists. The jurors agreed: The Software is innovative, practical and convinces through its ease of use.
20 Years Panvision
2013 was a busy year for us, on November 29th we celebrated Panvision's 20th anniversary. The Company was founded on that day exactly twenty years ago. This was reason enough for us to celebrate this occasion at Zeche Zollverein – jointly with previous and current friends and companions as well as the Major of Essen Rolf Fliß.

First App Development for Westermann Lernspielverlage
The Team of the educational publisher Westermann Lernspielverlage and the Software Developers of Panvision jointly developed an App which helps preschool and elementary school children to learn in a playfull manner. The free App with demo games was developed for both the iOS (iPhone, iPad) and Android Operating Systems. The individual Content Packages can be purchased through in-App purchases.
Relocation to Essen Bergerhausen
The space at the Bamlerstraße no longer met the structure and requirements of Panvision.
For this reason, a new domicile in Essen was required and we could find it in the beautiful Bergerhausen. With the proximity to highway A52, and not far from the city centre and yet in green surroundings, the people of Panvision immediately felt comfortable there.
First in-house Fair at Panvision
In October the first in-house Fair of Panvision took place. During this event on our own premises all questions about our Products and Services could be answered and practical tips for the use of our Products were given. In the following years, the fair offering was extended to include external speakers, Workshops and User Training. Starting from this first fair in 2007, the personal conversation with the customers was sought but the culinary well-being of the guests was catered to.
Creation of the Product PANFLOW
Over the years, we have found that our customers not only wanted to present their content optimally. They also needed a Software that allows them to control and optimize Business Processes - with the ultimate goal of increasing efficiency and cost savings. From the inquiries and request of different companies PANFLOW finally arose.
Development of the Product PAN.AD
Our customers were now accustomed to designing their Website using the Corporate Design and simultaneously, the consistent use of images was assured by PANBASE. Now the remaining advertising materials and business equipment were needed to be individualized in the same design and independent on location using the framework of the corporate design. We have addressed this need and we have created PAN.AD.
Creation of the Produt PANBASE
Customers with a large inventory of images and other media files approached us with the desire for a Database Solution. Central aspects were the accessibility from all locations, the differentiated administration of user rights and the central monitoring of the accuracy and licensing of the media data. A earlier product called Picture Pool was then expanded to become PANBASE.
Move to the Office Park Bamlerstraße
After our first Software Product PANSITE had established itself in the market, the number of employees had risen significantly and Panvision was in need of representative premises: the company's move to Bamlerstraße followed. There was sufficient space, an attractive reception area and ample parking facilities for employees and customers.

After other companies commissioned their Internet appearances with us, Panvision developed a Content Management System that would enable companies to modify and maintain their content unassisted in order to keep their Website up-to-date. Thus PANSITE was created.
First Web Presence for Hüls AG
The first Internet Site developed by Panvision was created for Hüls AG. The first employees were also hired at this time. Further orders from established companies followed: the economy moved towards the World Wide Web.
CD ROMs for RAG, Goodyear etc.
Panvision had created CD ROMs for several companies. These designed in line with the marketing guidelines of the respective companies and represented the products, the company and the distribution channels. Today, these CD ROMs can be described as a forerunner of the Website.

With the creation of CD-ROMs and a wide range of Services around the Internet, it was able to successfully position Panvision on the market
Formation of Panvision GmbH
A few students recognized the potential of three dimensional Stereograms - especially in advertising. This was the beginning of the Panvision Story. Eight partners - physicists, graphic designers and artists - founded the GmbH (LLC) and soon landed the big coup: Karstadt was the first customer that could be won. Other customers quickly followed the trend of three-dimensional graphics.
